So now that it's the New Year and stuff....the latest and greatest is as follows:

and I know you guys aren't going to believe this but I have been contemplating this for a while now and finally decided that I'm going to de-mod the HD. Probably won't dive right in any time soon yet I expect to be completed with the reversion by about summer. I know your like WTF over, but rest assured I'm doing this for reasons that in the end just make the most sense for me. Thanks again to all those that tuned in, lent a helping hand, or helped in some other way. It's been a great build.

so let it be written, so let it be done.

Did you ever consider putting larger mufflers in place of the 2 single ones?
Its been said that the X-pipe should be as close to the collectors as possible but, I'm runnin a di/do w/x built in. Do you think it would be rediculous to run an X-pipe in front of my di/do 14568? I'm running my pipes the same way but exiting like your original system. I ask because you have the X as well as a di/do. Curious if it affects anything performance wise? The x will be roughly 3' before the muff.

Thanks in advance
thanks bro, yes you want to run the X-pipe as close to the collectors as possible which as you know is hard to do. Nope, I think the X-pipe will be fine there.
