Project "Blown HD" my 6/8 drop/shortblock/heads/cam/blower/tranny install

the missing muffler is an actual muffler(not resonators), however, it doesn't have much packing in it as it's a dual 3" in, dual 3" out configuration in a 5x8 case, so in effect it acts like a resonator. Without that third muffler WOT sounded like a Top Fuel Dragster! LOL, not really that loud, just to much for me. With the 3rd muffler it has a much more "tuned" sound to it.

Very cool!! In your old exhaust thread you had the tips exiting before the rear tire, why did you decide to add another muffler and run the exhaust out back? Was it really loud the way it was before?

Yes, it WAS REALLY LOUD!!! for me anyway...........this arrangement is completely hidden and several steps quieter, no tips showing or anything

Aaak!! That wiring harness looks like a table full of spaghetti
That's certainly a critical yet delicate operation Grip. Looks like you're nearing the home stretch
Nice work reporting as usual

you've got to be pretty pleased with the 639rwhp your L92 program made on Joe's TBSS!

I know that I am real pleased with the work WCCH did to my heads. That wiring doesnt look so bad on this end, really we wont have that much more to do after today. Your truck looks great and will run like a scalded dog too!!

Grip and Joe, you both have me in awe with the wiring harness.
I've spent plenty of time with wiring harnesses especially in computers and in my CNC mill, but what you guys have taken on has me really impressed. It's an operation that on the surface seems like a straight forward rewire, but has a number of elemets that have to be dealt with. I'm following your travails in this area. Thanks for posting all the details about this conversion.
Joe, I'm especially impressed with your L92 project. That thing has to rock!
You should be very proud of that hot rod you've built.
