I have every other Wednesday off. I have EVERY Thursday and Friday off. Next week I have Wednesday off. Figure the schedule... and I will be there if you need me. Call me or PM me... if you need a helping hand.

FYI... umongst other things I am considering an LS7 crank for the LS6 block. Assuming I do that I won't need such a long nylon spacer

Keep in touch bro... I am 6 hours away.

negative, I'll probably just do 50ftlbs and call it good

I was hoping to stab the motor in tonight but I guess that will have to happen tomorrow instead, it's all good, it'll give the loctite time to setup

something else I was working on, not that big of a deal really, but here it is

as you know I have a custom exhaust; so there are many cuts and such that need to made that are not the same as production type stuff, example:

nice clean production cut/notch:

bandsaw cut/notch:

my idea of an improved bandsaw cut/notch:

That looks about perfect! Just slide the converter up to meet the flexplate, and you should have the correct clearance away from the pump. Lookin good!!!

Check your PM's when you get a chance

The first pictures of the tc to flex plate were scaring me. It looks like you got it now. I will say that I have found with the billet shaft and the PI converter that the lockup oring needs to be lubed very well and is sometimes really hard to get the tc in all the way. Trust me when I say that I have cut a couple of orings installing the converter. I use a grease stick from sonnax called a slippery stick. It is very similar to door-ez. sp. It makes it much easier to install with your setup. Vince

yeah, didn't seem right, everything went together pretty easy both times though, just didn't push hard enough the first time. The thing is, when I tighten the TC down it will end up in the same position.
