you could just use a flat plate with a large hole in the middle to fit a socket and a few holes where bolts would correspond with the cap screws you removed from the damper

The one i got for my blazer said its easy to install if you leave it in the oven for about an hour and then use kevlar gloves to pull it out and put it on before it cools. But since most people (myself included) don't have gloves for this I always used some grease, a 4x4, and a hammer.
Or just get an installer/remover from napa.

but this is the one i got

Opened a new box today wanted to make sure I have a 100% pure NPG+ coolant system and I just couldn't get all the fluid out of the stock radiator. Besides new parts are just plain cool
Big thanks to CHEVRACER83 for all your help today bro!

also dropped the headers off to get re-coated

I will go throw some of the non technical things and I am sure Moregrip will chime in.
zero water, 20% more flow, boiling point in the 300* range, non pressurized system.
