I know mines sitting in the corner and its the same color. supposedly it changes color as it heats up so you can tell if it gets burned up by the color. Its a conversation piece

billet flexplate to torque converter orientation, in other words I have almost zero gap.....doesn't seem to be a problem, just a very precise tolerance, I can spin the converter freely with one hand so there is no binding, will this be ok?
