Don't cap it. That is the tranny vent tube. If you cap it you will push fluid out your seals when it heats up.

on the crank bolt you just need it to hold in there. 100lbs sounds good with some blue loctite.

On the crank bolt, I've done it atleast 9 times each with a new bolt and just tighten the fu@k out of it. Haven't had a problem.

that's what I was thinking but I may just end up tightening it real good as I don't have a 14mm hex bit, but I do have a 14mm hex key.

Grippy,
Your truck looks good . . . even though the core is missing from the apple!

Thanks for the update,

Steve

Hmmm....how many people did it take to push that sucker back into the garage? Speaking of which what does a shell w/o a drivetrain weight?

hey grip, I just saw the pictures of the truck, it looks awesome! How many inches are the rims and do you have a lift under it? If yes how much? Thanks man! The relationships look great!

I only have a 14mm hex key for my Hex Socket Head Crank Bolt, hopefully the local tool shack is open today, no luck at Home Depot or Sears.
