Sounds good Grippy. I sm really looking forward to seeing how this thing runs when it is all over. I just hope that you arent disapointed becuase the Magna doesnt make enough power and you realize you shoudl have gone turbo

I sure hope I'm happy with it, as long as its taken me
After I have it setup the way I am going to run it daily, pulley selection, tuning, any misc issues.....
I'll be happy with 550/550 ish, thats kinda where I've set my expectation. If it doesn't make 500/500 ish I will be disappointed. Anyhting above 575/575 is icing on the cake

the final criteria for this build, and probably the most important, is, I don't want to have to adopt any special driving habits. In other words, get it, turn the key and go. I'm hoping for a very trouble free end result

Grip, what fuel upgrades u doin? I already have the walbro in tank unit from the MP112 install, and will add a boost-a-pump to that...I fig that shud be plenty. Only question I still have is the pulley ratio...what idler size shud I run v the OEM pulley on the MP122 and shud I adjust the crank pulley as well? My assumption was to run the standard LS1 stock size on the crank and just transfer over the idler setup from the 5.3/MP112 I already have...may BC has an opinion?

I would just re-use the idler pulleys from your current setup. You could step up to some metco 100mm idler pulleys if you wanted to though.
What pulley did you order with the 122?

My fuel system is a walbro intank fuel pump, KB Boost a Pump, and 60lb injectors rated @ 3bar.

Same as me then...didn't specify...but Brian knew what I was up to and told me he'd look after it...I'll open the box later and dbl check and post it tonite. I have a 2.9 in reserve, and 1st glance told me it was a 3.4. R/

question:

do I need to connect this back on the tranny or can I just cap the hard line on top of it?

also, any ideas on what I should torque the crank bolt too?
I was thinking about 100ftlbs
