Happened on the 3rd spray pass I made on the big end of the 1/4. PTv was checked when I built it, it's no where even close. Was over .200 clearance iirc

Out with the old stuff.. Cool **** is about to happen.

**Stand by**

And yes that is an actual really sketchy pic... I cut the last crossmember not thinkin about it and the truck flipped up and almost fell off the Jack stands. Nothing happened luckily just spooked me for a few minutes.. Figured I'd snap a pic quick to remind others to alway pay attention to what your doing.

That's a self correcting action! Glad you're alright and nothing was damaged.

Ya got lucky, I scored a 9" housing and axles and brakes. Got a smoking deal on it which was nice, for once.

Sold the 10bolt and have some play money now.
Decided on a comp engineering 4 link, a diagonal bar, and anti roll bar, and I'm going to purchase and weld a back brace onto my 9". Haven't decided on shocks but I'll probly start with 150lb springs on the coil overs. Will be running a 430 gear for starters see how it works.
I removed my front sway bar and sold the stock bumper removed the cross member between the frame horns and am fabbing a hoop to replace the frame horns horns. Will have an SS plastic cover.

Sat down an ran some numbers for gearing looks like to run 140mph trap speed on a 29" tire figuring roughly 20% slip should be around 7500 thru the traps with a 390 gear. I want to run a decently steep gear because I do a good bit of 1/8mile racing. So I'm going to give that a whirl. See how it goes, I dunno if I will need that much gear but I'll start there.

I bought some nice stuff: went with a comp engineering magnum 4link, magnum anti roll bar setup with adjustable links, and a diagonal link, a back brace for my 9" an upper and lower coil over mount, and a tubular driveshaft loop that I intend to use for the front mount for the 4 link and I will box the frame in and triangulate it.

I will be removing the factory lines I shoulda done that when the engine was out.. I also got a magnafuel 750 pump and pre and post filters, and a boost referencing regulator all magnafuel. I plan to start building the fuel cell soon been trying to source a sending unit, a filler that is vented that looks nice I came up with this one here. Should sit flush with the bottom of the bed. I also got hp tuners and plan to do the tune myself.

If you have 20% slip at 7500rpm you need to throw that converter in the trash.
