Haha, I wouldn't do that! It's been raining the past 2 days so my progress has been limited.
Friday I dropped off the rest of my exhaust for powdercoat, and yesterday I ran all the water lines for the intercooler, cleaned up some wiring harnesses, got the rad and fans back in. Reconnected the tranny lines and rad hoses, so all that's left is to install the Lingenfelter MAF, connect the intake tube, swap the throttle body over, fill it with coolant, download the tune and then I can fire it and pray it works lol.
I'll post some pics a little later, going out to do some work now.

Well it fires, but won't stay running. Idles at 1000 for about 5 secs, then lowers to around 500, then dies, all in about 10 secs. RPMs don't move if I try giving it gas either.
Any ideas? I don't know what the idle RPM is set at (if changed at all) but I'm going to datalog the attempted start and send it to Justin (Blackbear) this morning. Because it seems to idle well at 1000, it's just when it drops to 5-600 that it dies. So I'm not sure if it's following the same idle RPM points as stock, or if something is making it drop RPM.
Oh, and it's INCREDIBLY loud. Surprised even me, and I've worked on 8 sec cars before
Guess open headers will do that

I'm going to grab the datalog now and I'll also record the startup.

not excatly what you were expecting on first start up but you did change alot of things with the cam, maf, blower, etc I'm sure there is just a bug in there somewhere. Your in good hands with Justin. Keep us updated I know I got my fingers crossed for you.

But the first day I was starting it, it didn't seem like it was trying any harder to stay running on the last crank than it did the first time I tried.
Maybe I should try that to see if the PCM will learn to idle correctly with the cam and injectors.
But would the engine learn to idle higher? Or would it still try to drop down to 600 RPM? Cause that's where it dies on me.
