Finally took the time to monitor ambient to IAT temps and I'm incredibly pleased to say the least. Idling at a stop the IATs don't exceed 10° over ambient. At 50 MPH I'm only 4° over ambient and I went into boost once and only hit 17° over ambient. But what's really incredible is how fast the IAT dropped after going into boost then getting out of the throttle; within a couple minutes I was back to <10° over ambient.

Ambient temps tonight were between 72-78°.

Awesome build man! This is EXACTLY what I want to do with my truck. How is the 4L60 holding up for you?

Sorry this took so long to reply, the combination works really well for a fun street truck with usable, accessible power. You won't be disappointed if you go in this direction.

Trans is holding up fine so far, but that has more to do with me driving it to keep it alive and happy than it being strong enough on its own. A lot has to do with it having low mileage, keeping the temps down and not racing it.

Well I'm looking for something new to play with, so I'm aiming to sell the truck in the spring. Questions and offers welcome!

Nope, I'm being a ***** with this one and keeping the driveline in pristine condition for the next guy. I've thought about bringing it down to new era for a dyno tune but I'll put that $ towards my next project which will see some track time.

Got a new accessory from Ray:

Dealing with two problems right now with the truck: There's stumbling/misfiring at 3500 when I do a pull. I did a couple datalogs of a couple pulls last week, but forgot to add misfire PIDs

0 counts of KR, but it did retard timing briefly around 3500 so I don't know what to make of that (I think from ~14 to 8°). I sent the logs to Justin, and he said there was misfiring on bank 1 around 3500, but I don't know how he came to that conclusion without the misfire PIDs to look at.

Second thing I've noticed is the tune is pretty rich when I get into the throttle. Anything over around 75% throttle position and I'm seeing 10.0:1 AFR. I think that's the lowest range my wideband will show, so I'm not ruling out a problem with the wideband or the controller, or even an exhaust leak around the O2 bung. I've never removed the wideband from the bung to reset it in open air, but I've held the reset button on the controller with the key on to reset it that way and it still reads the same.

Emptied the catch can yesterday, more oil than I was expecting:

Noticed last night the injectors are maxed; 19.8 m/s PW on bank 1 somewhere around 6000 RPM which is right at 99%. The A/F is still richer than I want, so while the injectors are maxed for this tune, being that it's still rich at WOT, I don't think the injectors are maxed out for the combination just yet. It's probably close, but I want to get the fueling adjusted before buying new injectors.

So the plan for the new tune is to take away some fuel and add some timing. I really kick myself now for getting the autocal over the V2, since logging WBO2 is impossible.
