When it comes down to it people just want to see you run the damn thing.
The negative comments are actually coming from a good place IMO... no one is doing it to get you down. I know that sounds hard to believe... but hear me out. They're doing it to save you time. No one wants to see you go through all this only to make the same power as a guy who ran a 416 with ported heads and a slightly diff cam, while you spent the last 3 years polishing.
I think whats missed on most is that you truly don't care about driving this vehicle.

Cool with me brother....YOLO ....I’d rather not wonder what could’ve been ....I’ve kicked in doors to not so nice people in the middle of the night in the deadliest city in the world for no reason too....I’d rather not be the guy sitting there wondering what if. Others POV has not, does not, and will not skew MY intent. This is my build and a thread to showcase it. I’m not here asking for input on everything. Some things are just to be thought upon.

keep doing what your doing, I have enjoyed the build among others as well probably. Everyone's different, some take pride and want it perfect, some experiment, some throw redneck **** together..etc
If I knew how to build engines from ground up and had the tools to do it I would dabble in a little bit of what your doing just because I like being different as well.

This is by far one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a long time. Get tired of reading about turbocharged trucks with cams and headers. Not knocking their builds, just kind of routine. Yours isn’t. I just want to see the dang thing run!

Been trying to figure out how to allow the oil pump spring to rotate freely as it cycles and came up with .010” thick ptfe homemade shims. If you’ve ever changed springs in one of these pumps then you know how much they bind and chatter.....damaging the spring, causing it to have different rates, and creating metal shavings.

I have been busy designing a better chain dampener and have a couple of different hydraulic versions I’ve been tinkering with. I was looking up some other stuff and ran across this image..sb4 Dohc ls7 with a really nice chain dampener. It caught my eye instantly. I know I know dohc etc etc but still a nicer dampener

I have coyote engine style and Harley type hydraulic dampeners. Just modding mass produced parts is all as I have no fabrication ability. Small orifices vs larger ones to damp the oscillating pressures etc. Using different nitrous jets to play with it kinda things

Did you drill out the block holes with a hand drill? How do you know your hole is plumb and the studs won't be slightly cocked, not allowing the head to bolt back on?
This just seems risky with all the big HP engines that are only using ARP hardware on stock sized holes
