Not sure who spec'd that cam but its lacks exhaust duation IMO.

You close the intake valve awful late... but barely open the exhaust valve any sooner than a stock LS9 cam.

Those exact specs with about 10* more exhaust duration would be spicy...

I had Ron at Vegenance spec it out for me. The midrange will be strong with the current one though. I have a few other cam ideas in mind if I don't like this one or it doesn't pull the why I'd like. Maybe use a cam with a some overlap to help cool the chamber down and stretch the intake duration out a little to pick up the lost boost/cylinder filling. But overall I don't think the exhaust duration will hurt me. More cylinder pressure for slightly longer may just help and my exhaust flows pretty well.

The lawn did take a turn for the worse at the beginning of August for some reason and never fully recovered. Not sure why either but I did make note of it

Awesome build. But yah curious as to why you choose the e40? It's kind of a bastard child of the ecm world.

When I originally swapped the truck back in 2010 I got a LS2 out of a 2005 GTO so it had the 24x reluctor and I wanted to keep DBW so I went with the E40. So that's what I had when I started redoing the truck. I didn't realize the E40 was such a bastard child at the time or when I planned out the new build or else I would have had the engine built with 58x reluctor. I'll admit I knew nothing on the topic of tuning and still have limited knowledge. If the Holley Doninator allowed me to use my factory gauge cluster then I'd be all over it.
