[QUOTE=oakley6575;5135509]I know what you mean . I need to put some miles on this thing and get the tune straitened out.

Okay my wideband gauge is reading different than in HPT. I used the damn values that came with the wideband to set it up in HPT but it shows .04 lambda richer on the gauge. What is the fix?[Free Downloads | The Tuning School

I finally drove the truck home tonight. It drove perfectly. Not a single issue. I love having a small cam again. I can see why all you guys like the turbo set ups with perfect drivability and a lot of hp. I'm not sure if I like how much oil pressure this melling pump is producing. I cruised home on the freeway tonight and at 2000rpm and 75mph, it makes 70psi. Anytime I go WOT, it pegs the gauge at 100+.. Do you guys think there will be any oil temp issues with that much pressure?

There shouldn't be any issue with oil temp. I have a Melling HP pump and it runs pretty high too but I have 15k miles on it now without issues. What oil are you using?

Sounds really good man! Love the gauges! Right now I am getting my OLD BUSTED 350 TBI out and will be installing the new engine soon (fingers crossed). That 4.8 is gonna rock... Wish I hadn't sold the one I bought!

I've been driving the truck around and it runs like a top. No issues whatsoever. I still have a few loose ends like getting my FPR vacuum source hooked up but thats about it. So I have a Yank 245mm 3200 converter but this little 293 will only push it to 2600rpm. I can hold the brakes, and floor the throttle and it won't spin the tires. It just holds against the converter at 2600. Its kind of funny since the 408 would blow the tires off with about half throttle. I miss all that torque!

Anyone have any ideas on where to mount my vacuum block? I don't want it in plain view but I'm having a hard time figuring out where it should go. I was thinking about mounting it on the plastic pcm cover.

Well boys, Rick took care of me today. Great guy to talk with. Here is what he is building me:

Hot pipes
4" downpipe with wideband bung
46mm gate vented to the downpipe
Cold side piping, silicone, hardware, IAT bung, BOV
4" core intercooler
S475 83/74 with race cover and cast wheel

I'm super excited to say the least. I've been driving this 4.8L like a race car trying to break something but everything is solid. All it needs is 20psi

It's flash flooding here in Vegas. Cooled off 30 degrees so I thought I would see how the SD tune reacts to such a drastic weather change. It defiantly is more picky than a MAF tune. But it still ran great. I was walking out of the door and saw my Go Pro laying there. I popped it on the window and went for a little cruise. I think I will use this mounting spot for future vids. Anyways, nothing fun to see in the vid, but there will be in a few weeks when the turbo stuff gets here
