What I am getting at is how are you smelling the oil? Are you venting the crankcase to atmosphere?

It certainly has a noticeable smell thats very different than any oil. It's honestly a pretty gross smell, but I have a chub over Rotella so I won't stop using it.

Even with my catch can setup, that is not vented, I will get whiffs of it sometimes. I run it in my dirtbikes too, and it's really noticeable smell after riding with their vented cases.

Pat, could you explain the process of buying that balancer and pullies? I found out that my new balancer wasn't compatible with my Whipple 2-belt pulley and bent the unobtainable Whipple part. I was looking at the website for your super damper, and I was overwhelmed. Do you think that they can reproduce my pulley configuration? Did you call them, or was your setup pretty cut and dried?
