The whole thing looks good, that just adds to it. I also like the coils without the goofy mounts.

 

I see some Rotella oil sitting there. Your not running 10w40 in this are you?

Untimately no. The oil that TSP sent with the shortblock is Gibbs 15/50 which is awefull heavy for my tastes. I'll run it for first fire up and will preheat the oil to thin it down a bit. Then will most likely run the second batch of oil with BR10/40.

After 400-500 miles I plan to run a conventional Joe Gibbs oil 5/30 or 10/30 till it gets at least 3k miles. Then will go synthetic.

Unless I decide different. Still thinking about it. Thoughts?

I used the rotella to clean some stuff.

 

will you bottle and send me all of the good oil that you dump out of the engine in the first 3k miles?

I'll change it after first heat cycle, then at 500m. I am gonna have to intentionally make it a point to drive it as I only put like 1000-1500 a year on it. I wanna get it broke in and ran at the track this year.
