Got the JW ultra bell housing in
Got my trans mostly drained, got the converter off of it and the stock input shaft out of it.
Also got the bell housing cut down almost to where it needs to be.
Tomorrow its gonna get pressure washed and cleaned up some before I go any further on
cutting or grinding it down so I can get it as straight as possible.
I have talked to a friend nearby to get it rebuilt and get a trans brake valve body installed into it,
and he is getting the heavy duty rebuild kit with red clutches.
He rebuilds his own and never seems to have any issues except when his converter took a dump on him.

The 5.3 build has gone to the wayside.
Going to go ahead and sell off the parts I have for the 5.3 still here
at the house and will apply that money to a 6.0 short block.
Cant really see spending the money for a full and complete drop in since most of it will go bye bye.
Just have to get short block and an alternator mounting bracket.
I am hoping it will have the rest of the stuff (starter and flywheel).
I will put pictures of the glide up in a little bit once a download is completed.

FINALLY got Mom's F-150 up and running and back together.

Went thru some of the stuff I have in the garage and out in the storage shed
and have different items I plan to put up for sale, so keep an eye out in the classifieds section.

Got the power glide bell housing trimmed back to where I could test fit the JW ultrabell.
Had to trim a bit more on the bottom end to get it to fit like it's supposed to.
Next on the list is to purchase a trans brake for it.
May decide to go ahead and get the JW tail housing for it before it goes in.
I thought they had forgotten the bolts for the bell housing but it turns out they were
buried under the peanuts and partially wedged under a flap,
so I did not feel the bag when I was running my hand through the box.
Mom was rolling the truck outside of the garage so I could finish the F150 yesterday and this morning.
While she was moving it out of the way, she accidentally rolled it over something that popped one of my front tires.
So I have already ordered a new pair.
Accidents happen. She was pretty bent out of shape for doing it,
but I told her not to worry about it at all. No biggie.
She finally calmed down some.
More to come later, as usual.
Pictures of the BEFORE and AFTER of the powerglide are below.
Talk about a HUGE difference!!

Well, I have decided to not ship the heads to a head porter.
Gonna take a while to get all of the stuff I have waiting to be paid for now done.
Much as I love tinkering with my lil S15, its gonna have to go on the back burner for a while.
Got to pay down some of these credit cards before doing any more buying.
Plus my miles are REALLY slowing down due to health issues.

AND NOW my project is taking another turn....

I have decided to buy another stock 5.3 with EFI and swap the cam and maybe the heads to it.

Then trim down the harness, re-wire loom it, and put it and the ecu up for sale!! YAY!

Strike 3 items off the list.... radiator support, transbrake, and radiator. Although I did go ahead and buy the stock 4.3 radiator with trans cooler built in.

Spent the night at the house last night.
Got the clips put on the rockers for the 243 heads.
This morning I went out and got the front tire put back on the S15.
It is now back in the garage.
I got 4 of the springs on one head installed while waiting for Mom to get up and going.
Got one of the -6AN fittings almost tightened down on the Glide and the damn thing broke off!!
I then had to drill it back out and tap it again to get another one put back in.
That one tightened down ok.
I will probably pull it back out since I ordered 2 more just to double check the opening and get it clean and clear.
May run the tap back in again and may try to get it to go up a bit higher so its not so hard to tighten down.
Pictures will get added in just a few.

Today turned out to be a pretty good day.
Got to drop a couple hundred miles on the dually after a ton of money being invested.
Ran fantastic and had no issues at all aside from a bouncy front end during right handed curves.
Went and picked up the 5.3 power plant.
Looked pretty good when I got it but not cleaned up.
No biggie though, cause most of the stuff is being swapped out.
Now, the pictures below are the pile of exploded mess that is it's current situation.
Yanked intake, heads, front dress, and only managed to leave a 4 foot mess on the floor.
Gonna put most of the stuff I removed up for sale in the classifieds, so keep an eye out.
I have a couple things to work on tomorrow morning and am heading to the dr tomorrow afternoon.
