Might be a Circle D thing? Even on stock motor with the 80e, transgo, and circle d and rebent 2500hd hardlines I would see 150-160 regularly.

How big did you drill your shift kit holes? I followed Jakes advice and drilled the holes to the largest and left the 2-3 check ball out. The 1-2 slams pretty hard at low speed, shifts feel great at wot. I'm gonna try to not worry about it too much. 195 isn't 250 or 280. Also, my 3.42 gears and 31.5" tall tires surely aren't helping me. Overall the truck feels heavy and sluggish off idle.

Ok guys a little update on the project. Had a chance to head back to the dyno. First couple pulls were a pace palm moment, nearly identical numbers to the first dyno session (different tuner closer to home this time though), around 460rwhp/ 480rwtq. Tuner added 3* timing (from 12 to 15) and only picked up 12rwhp and truck kept falling on its face at 4800rpm. Tuner said that even with a stock cam, the combo should peak to least 5200rpm. So we started playing with the boost controller. I had the mechanical spring pressure set to 8.8psi (9psi spring) and we found out that the controller couldn't react fast enough once boost started coming on. We lowered the spring pressure in the controller down to 4psi and very next pull yielded 540rwhp/600rwtq at 15psi. That's with 15 degrees timing and 11.6 afr. Tuner added fuel to 11.4:1 and picked up to 552rwhp/605rwtq with converter locked in 3rd and dyno was loaded. Tuner did say that with an unloaded dyno that numbers would be about 30/30 higher but his dyno does not have the ability to go unloaded. He offered to turn the wick up past 15psi but I didn't feel like getting greedy and the measured wheel speed at the limiter in 3rd was 149mph so I was feeling nervous (tuner didn't seem to care tho lol). Although my goal was and still is 600whp, I didn't get there this time. I want to make a few changes and go back (maybe a cam change and a nnbs intake? Not sure how much more I can extract from unported 862 heads?). The torque curve on this truck is absolutely nuts. I'm sure the small cam and 10.5:1 compression are contributing factors. I wish I could figure out how to post the graph but alas, I cannot figure out how to open a .wp8 (WinPep 8) file. If anyone knows, let me know!

Other than that I did score another set of Craigslist Centerlines, 18x8 Voltage II w/ 265/60/18 Bridgestones. I'm pretty stoked on the wheels even if the chrome is flaking, for what Centerline charges for wheels these days, $340 w/ tires is a bargain IMO. I found some Centerlines a few months back but one of them turned out to be bent. I'm still deciding on what to do with those so in the meantime I picked up these.

Other than that I'm planning on doing some suspension work. I got some different mounts from Atomic for the front coilovers so I can fine tune ride height and lower another 1/2" or so. And I'll pull the 1" blocks out of the back at the same time to level things out. I'm definitely stoked on the truck, it feels pretty well sorted, but I do have a few things I need to do before I head to the track.
On the dyno (hadn't picked up the Centerlines yet):

Thanks. They kinda look like "baby VHO" wheels, but much lighter and I think 18's suit the truck better. They are 61lbs per tire & wheel.

I think my stock 17s and 275 m&hs were 45ish per wheel and tire.

That's real light. My stock 17s with Goodyear 265/70/17 were 55lbs
