Default My slow build of a slow truck

So I see all you guys on here having a blast with your turbo's so I decided to try it out. Picked me up an '01 shorty Silverado last year and having been working on it for the past few months.

Yanked the V6 and dropped in an LM7 with a MPT70

junkyard 80E with transgo hd2 and Yank pro truck 3600 spun by a Yank sfi flexplate with arp hardware.

I also figured while it's down I might as well play with the rear suspension. Sooo, i flipped the axle and relocated the shocks with some adjustable Rancho 9000xl's.

cleaned up...

frame looks good, and I like what you did with the shocks......what paint/process did you finish it with?

I scraped/wire-wheeled as much undercoating as I had patience for, then primed it with rustoleum lightly rusted metal primer, then sprayed it with rustoleum professional semi-gloss black. Hands down my favorite rattle can paint.

gives a nice factory-looking finish...

Hope to start it up within the next month. Right now i'm waiting on parts for the battery relocation, caltracs, some fittings for the steam ports, exhaust, etc...
