Nice work Dusty. ya after reading this thread i decided i need to get off my lazy butt and fab up a turbo kit for my truck. Looks like the project is coming together very well. let me know if you need any help getting that beast back together.

Thanks dude, you going to let us know your plans? May I make a suggestion? DONT use 5 inch

I'll video it for sure.....

It's getting bad guys, I keep having nightmares about the stupid thing.... Last night I dreamed the thing wasnt pumping coolant, got hot, and spun a bearing, all while sitting on jack stands in the garage... I need to get a life....

Thats weird I had a dream about your truck too, but in my dream you handed me the keys and said somthing like give it hell, but keep her under 150 ya it was a good dream.

So I have a little issue... I'm not sure if I should tap the oil circuit for the turbo before or after the cooler. I planed on after because I want the turbo to see cooler oil. but the fact the oil cooler has a bypass valve, I'm afraid the oil would rather flow threw the bypass to the turbo rather than threw the cooler. I'm not sure if I explained this very well so, I'll reread and possibly rewrite the quest in a few minutes..

Don't run the valve... Or just use the tap you put in the block like with the sts
