I started bending my oil cooler lines today. I hope to do a bit of welding later today...

OMFG! WTF is that? Where did you get that pic? That things would go off like a bomb once the exhuast pressure builds.

A real update.....

Got the manifold welded up. though it far from done. a little bit more smoothing and some minor port work is needed. Then it will be wraped up..Thank god, because this has taking A LOT longer than I had though....
Anyway.. Picture

I had to cut the drivers bank off in order to weld it all up, here is a pic of the passenger bank pretty much done...

Drivers bank welded up and back in to position. With a coat of black muffler anti rust..

And just wanted to see if the stupid manifold would hold the pig of a turbo.... "Look ma, no chain"

Next week, I hope to have the down pipe done and finish up the cross over, and maybe a little section of the exhaust.

It will for now, but add repeated heat cycles, and fatigue will come sooner. Consider a brace of some type. Once it sags, things tend to get ugly quickly.

Looks good though. How much room for the down pipe now?

Plenty of room .... I think, Yes a support system is Defiantly in the plans. I just need to figure out my waste gate location. I plan on using accy bolt holes in the front of the head, and possibility the a/c compressor pump mounting bolts....
