Default My dad's truck pictures

been in the family since 1992. it was my grandpas first NEW truck and it was left behind when he died. it became me and my dads little project a few years back. you just dont see them this clean anymore. new paint (slick as ****), body work done, new lights all around, new door handles, new mirrors, new molding, etc etc frame off restored. 350 motor. we rebuilt it to STOCK with some drop shackles to level things out.

its probably pretty boring to most of yall but i grabbed some pictures of it tonight and though i would share. hard to believe that its 18 years old. i wish i got some pictures in the sunlight. that red paint POPS

I hate the side moldings, brings back fond memories of removing mine. I say that thing is clean! Very nice!

none, but i need to get some. the truck is OEM all the way around other than some 2" drop shackles and a different paint scheme. it was 2 tone red and silver before we re-squirted it. i couldnt even talk my dad into a new interrior color or an updated grille shell when we had this truck in 1,000 pieces. i wish my 2001 was this clean lol.

thats is an awesome gift your grandfather left you. my grandpa left behind a 2001 silverado that i plan to restore as soon as my mom stops using it. the truck only has 40,000 miles on the clock.

That is a good looking truck. Just noticed the window sticker. I had a 91 model with the 5 speed and 350 engine and it stickered right at $13900 if I remember correctly. What the sticker price on yours. Best of all you got bonding time with pops.
