Is it just me, or does the first gear of the 80e sound like a school bus?

 

its the way it is! Mine wines like no other but after that it chirps into second and we are rolling then!

 

Richard, school buses have Cummins engines...are you sure you swapped in the 410?

 

Haha, ya 1st in most of the 80e's is a strait cut gear and not heli cut, so they whine,

 

Yup, I had those same worries when I installed my 80e!

 

Haha, ok good, just making sure. Just put in the heavy wastegate spring...time for a test drive...

So just got back from a test drive, and with the other spring, well, lets just say it made at least 20psi at 60% throttle. I say at least because my 2bar sd is maxed out at 15lbs and my gauge only goes up to 20...

With the boost referenced hooked up it is right around 10lbs.

 

Well I guess no one is impressed by my 20lbs of boost comment
Im going to throw the other spring back in with the heavy one and keep the boost reference...hopefully thatll put it around 16lb

 

Did it go lean at 20 psi?
