Almost finished the fuel conversion today, but I have the wrong fittings for my fuel rails, so its going to be sometime next week before I finish that as well.



Next job is the trans swap...

Trans should only take 2-3 hours. Maybe a bit longer if you don't have a lift. I am so spoiled having keys to the shop and never having to work on the ground any more.

I've done so many trans swaps I don't think it will be an issue, having a lifted truck is nice. Turbo goes on after the trans.

Yea, so ive been working on the trans swap. Finished swapping out the input shaft on the transfer case and got everything back together to discover this little guy hiding under my bench...



any ideas where that goes?

Nah, all my turbo stuff is still sitting in the box waiting on the trans to finish... When I pick up the transfer case and shake it back and forth I can hear something kind of move around...

Yea, it does, I found an exploded view early this morning and found it. Already taken the case back apart and stuck it in there. Crappy thing is the front seal I got from autozone is the wrong one, and napa isnt open today, so the tcase may be what holds up the whole project.
