Sucks on the motor man! What I would do is get a 05-06-07classic 5.3 with the stronger rods and run that. Should be able to get one for a decent price and get you back on the road quick. Love the build man hopefully you can get back on the road soon!

That is what I was planning as well. I really don't think it messed anything up on the low end. Just maybe needs new rings and a piston which would be a cheap way to go.

But then it also crosses my mind that if I have it out I may as well go all out.

We'll see what I decide
