Im gonna save you some time "Build a new inlet use the original blower flange only".Or buy mine its ported to 96mm right now you could probably get 100mm out of it.Im changing mine again "Think twin 90's i got to one up ya man."

the whipple is a great s/c i actually knew a guy down here that was running one for years on his 5.3L but he switched to a tvs 1900 or 2300 cant remember. the only down side is that they dont replace the intake.

off topic but ive seen that kenne bell makes a s/c for the ls based engines, but ive never seen anybody run it, looks clean.

make a new intake track! With the whipple being a compressor you need to have as much air going in as you can.

Trick made one for a lightning.

Double 78's would be cool looking. DOuble 90's and I bet you are at max for the head unit.

I left out that in the 1st pic you can see how the flange blocked off part of the blower inlet, and in the 3rd pic I cut it out to match.

You've got the right idea but I'd get those beads pressure tested.

That's the most polite way that I've ever heard of saying that my welding sucks. I know, but I'm cheap. It's welded inside and out. A little leakage instead of drilling the throttle plate? Don't worry, it will be invisible after a little flat-black paint.

Looks like it should be a nice improvement, the 102mm is much larger.

I took a pic to show that the working side looks a lot better than the outside:

And I made a video to show how it sounds now:
