Yea i think itll still do mid to high 6s but we will see. Its basically just a spacer like super sub makes. Theres tons of ports on this blower to install meth or nitrous nozzles. Gaskets right now are custom cometic mls ones.

Mid 6s, although slower than the turbo setup, would still be beastly on a street truck, plus you wouldn't have to worry about burning your truck down or burning wires.
Very interested to get your impressions on this thing once it's on the road compared to your prior setups...

I'm suddenly quite intrusted in your results with this blower, lol. I have local shop building an 02 4x4 Sub with a 427LSX 5 bolt motor and have this blower pulley-ed way down with a custom 10 rib drive. They want a 1000rwhp out of it, but the shop and I as well don't think they will get there with it. The shop wants to talk the owner into one of my turbo kits when it fails to reach the 1K mark. I offered a trade deal for the blower and just might slap it on my personal truck if it goes though. I've always liked the instant boost of a PD blower for DD.

Yea I dont think there is anyway this blower would make 1000rwhp without some extra help, especially in a 4x4 truck. Maybe a tiny engine spun to the moon. Can you get any pictures of the custom drive? I have been thinking about a custom pulley setup with a dedicated belt for the blower.
The spacer at first will be aluminum. 1/2" is the biggest most places around here can do, I have a feeling doing 1" will be super expensive. I could also easily drill and tap aluminum for all sorts of fun nozzles whereas phenolic is much harder to work with. I found a shop that can do it but they need a long lead time to wait for a big batch to come though.
Oh I am also putting AC back in the truck. Got a compressor and the rest of the stuff on the way from rock auto. Gonna see how well the hvac in the dash works before I yank it out for another one. I am tempted to get a pull out from a junkyard to keep from messing with setting actuators and whatever.

I found your last build thread yesterday and read the entire thing in one sitting. I love the sleaper idea. I have a 2003 scsb Z71 that I have been driving for the last 12 years, I figure I have at least another 10 with it, so i may as well have some fun. It's my DD so I have to figure out how far I can take it, but you certainly inspire! I'll make it look like a 2wd, take the z71 stickers off and start building it up. Thanks for all the documentation, it really makes for some great reading.

I haven't seen the drive yet, I just saw the blower sitting on the bench when I was over there the other day. I am interested to see just what it does have on tap though before it runs out of breath on the 427, lol. I don't plan to run it that hard if I get it. 700 on a DD would be all I need
