That just doesnt sound right...

I know this is not apples to apples, but you are basically saying that a 15GPH nozzle can support 250HP? Are the fuel requirements drastically different for a 250 shot of nitrous as opposed to making an additional 250 naturally aspirated?

A 15GPH (45 thou) nozzle at 185psi, yea. For their 55psi jetting, NX uses a 57 (thou) jet for alcohol for a 250hp shot, so not that different. Actually kind of lines up with how Julio recommends nozzles with his meth systems.

Nitrous stuff generally has a worse bsfc than NA (but not as bad as turbo or blower), so it takes more fuel to make the same power as NA. Mostly due to running it richer for fuel cooling because the chamber is much hotter.

Richard, you make me wish I had paid more attention in the thermofluid science courses. Luckily, you make easy to use spreadsheets!

If you want to learn all the math and science you need for car/go-fast stuff look into the books Jeff Hartman has written on amazon. Hes done turbo, blower, and nitrous books and I have them all. He gets pretty verbose but goes into great depth on the science part if you like that sort of thing.

Awesome, I will for sure pick up at least a couple of those. I definitely do like the science. Thanks!

Little test of the spray bar with the smallest jet I have...

Fuel portion test with the meth pump using the test button. Pressure was only around 15psi or so. Operating pressure will be 185psi.

Very happy with everything, except I mismarked the number 1 port location a little so the holes arent lined up exactly. I think it will be ok though...
