May be hitting the dyno tomorrow...tested out the new converter, slip is still a little higher than I would like but its much better, 14% compared to 30% before. Makes a huge difference!

Yes, generally the higher the gear the more load you put on the converter. For instance before I had mine restalled at 6200 engine rpm the converter slip amount was 1100 in 1st gear, 1300rpm in 2nd gear, and 1500rpm in 3rd gear.
I also tightened my plugs down to 0.020 and gained a couple psi of boost, which tells me it was blowing the spark out before.

Right now they are br7ef @0.020. I have used b8efs in the past but they did not idle well at all. Ive only tried the tr6s, br7ef, and b8efs. Which plugs are you reffering to?
