Default Gasmachine's 2001 ECSB build..

Well I introduced myself now to introduce my truck...

Mods so far.. HD hood, tinted headlights/taillights, drop keys up front, 2" drop shackles in rear w/ blocks and helper spring removed and tinted windows...

Soon to come, forged 402, yank 3600 stall, full exhaust, tbss intake and tune.

Heres my 2001 ecsb chevy as it sits today...

Thanks man, its definitely a work in progress... as far as body work it still needs both bumpers replaced, a whole new bed and to fix a cab corner but its alot better then it was when i got it.

Im still gathering a few parts but the 402 and yank 3600 stall should be going in this month. Anyone got some 1 7/8 headers for a 2001 4x4?

402 with a 3600 converter is going to be tons of fun!

Just a little update... sold my corvette accessories I had in favor of purchasinga few other things needed...

Hoping to have the 402 installed in a couple more weeks. Ill be ordering a new timing set, truck under drive crank pulley and hardened push rods this week. Im getting some manley .650 double valve springs and f11 futral cam from a friend for nothing so once ive got all of that ill probably snap a couple photos and do some work. Then all i need is headers and this 402 can drop in.

Whats everyones thoughts on the calspeed 1 7/8 headers? YAY or NAY? I really cant afford arh or kooks 1 7/8 headers right now..

I know they cost more but I think ARH will hold up to our winters up here a hell of a lot better than calspeed. I think the road salt and grime would eat the cheaper headers alive.
