Thoughts on replacing my dash gauges with a Racepak IQ3?

 

Why? Sounds expensive

 

Data logging. More information available on my dash...IAT, W02, boost(?), etc.

 

Sounds cheaper to just buy a tablet and run HP Tuners software on that and just mount it on the dash. You can watch anything you want with that.

HP Tuners = $650

 

Obviously I'd spec it for a blower. How would something like that drive if I had it done before I got the blower?

 

I never said I-pad, anyone who's buys that is a fool.

They make TONS of samsung/window's tablets with 10in screens for under $250. Internet better.

 

Couldn't you use an EFILive V2 instead of HP Tuners?

 

I suppose it does not matter what program you use.

I figure most already have HP Tuners if they want to data log or EFi Live. I just know that HPT can be used on a tablet with a mini usb to regular usb adapter to have the MPVI plug into it.
