At the DFW Truck Shootout last weekend, Nitrous Express had a booth setup and one of the guys had his 2014 RCSB there with that kit. He didn't have the bottle on it but said he was going to put it in the bed. Had it four-linked with some monster wide tires.

About 90% sure I'm dropping a 6.2L in it. If the kit worked on it, it would be a no brainer.

if what kit worked on the 6.2? the nitrous kit? it would be a direct bolt on would it not, or is the TB opening size different? if that's the case put a 6.2 intake on your 5.3 and order the 6.2/vette NX kit if you're set on nitrous, that's going to be the only difference, tb opening.

From what I remember the NX guy telling me, the plate is different on all three, LT1, L89, L83.

But yeah, getting the LT1 intake would be a good idea.

that's what I'd do if that was your ultimate goal, just go ahead and get whatever intake you plan to run on it later and fit it onto the 5.3 now and get the accompanying kit. There was a 6.2L truck at a wrecking yard here in w. Fort Worth a few weeks ago I saw and asked about, they wanted $6500 for the long block, no harness, nothing else, just long block. DAMN!!!

Yeah, I don't think I want to pay that, but a long block is all I'd need. Add in DOD delete + cam I'd be good to go.
