Cool project!
If you are buying new, why not just get the 2300 maggie?

Oh yeah I forgot about that part Rob... I put one of the 3' long school bus mufflers on my truck once so I could listen for engine noise, those quiet stuff right down

Do you still have it? I wonder if it would fit under a 1500.

Semi's use them too, the are dirt cheap, Ryan Hansen's got one on the baja truck, you've heard that thing.

I didnt think they would fit under a 1500... but there shouldnt be all that much more room under Ryan's 2500 than our trucks. Lipton this may be the best bet for you with a sheap stainless 4" for a diesel. Modify it for one of those mufflers.

You guys will still be blown away how loud they are when you get on it compared to a diesel with the same muffler.

yeah I don't doubt it. This morning on my way to work I realized those Donaldson mufflers would be an option as a bunch of Graeme and I's diesel buddy's use them under their Dodges.

I just stuck it on the end of my tail pipe at my work, I work on school buses so we have a bunch laying around. I can get you the demenions if you want Rob

And I dont know how much any of you like side exit exhausts before the rear tire but I mufflers like this at my work too, but the inlet and outlet are backwards so that wont work but im sure someone makes them the with the exit on the side

Yeah Donaldson makes what I was thinking of

Alright, so, truck is back together and I've been driving it stock, what a luxury boat! Popped the bed off to do some needle scaling and painting (thanks New England)

While I was under there I realized I got the wrong walboro kit, after speaking to summit and then walboro, apparently there is a new unit being offered from walboro that is a complete upgraded plug and play sending unit with a 255 pump installed for what he said was in the realm of $300 ish, doesn't seem all that bad and I'm going to wait a little to see when it actually releases.

As for exhaust I ended up going with the speed engineering system that dumps in front of the rear axle. I'm hoping to stay within reason noise level wise, and that system seems like a good start for the money that if is too loud I can add a second muffler.

Put tires on the truck as well, 305/50/20 nitto bro20s. Like how they look and feel. Drive nice too when I'm done feeling

Header and exhaust will probably go on next weekend once I figure out why the truck has no air conditioning... Is there an AC fan that could have a stuck relay? Starts cold then goes warm..

Thanks fellas

Is it possible it just needs a little more R-134a?

Truck looks good! Getting there...
