You could also look in to Cobalt ss/sc heat exchangers. OTTP and ZZP both make really nice and quality uints. i have the ottp one on my car now for 5+ year with zero issues.

Cool built none the less. cant wait to see it done.

Keep us updated O.P

I like this thread, I found some cheap CTSV blowers but I never know if they are complete , for example most dont come with the fuel lines .

What are you using ?

The fuel rail is off a CTSV or ZLE, same one looks like. Have to get it from Scoggin Dickey. They seem to have the best price at $300, ouch.

Nope, it's a pretty unique design and the stock one works so well, no one needs to buy one aftermarket. Oh well. Everything has a price haha

So, a little quick update. Block is still at the machine shop. Made a call and was told "couple more days"..... that was 4 days ago. Gonna call him again to see if it will be ready saturday. I am reminded of the movie ****** everytime I talk to this guy "How long on those sausages...... 5 minutes turkish...... you said 2 minutes 5 minutes ago? WTF?"
Anyways, once it gets back, I should have the crank back from balancing and we can start assembling the shortblock. Pics coming soon.

In the meantime, starting to rethink the bronze powdercoated wheels. I think the look would be super slick, but with a different wheel. Maybe a 10 spoke with a dish or bigger lip. Might polish them instead.... I'm too picky when it comes to wheels.

Is the crank not straight or out-of-round journals?

Little excessive wear on the journals, gonna have to undersize on them. For what i will be spending in new crank bearing undersized and machining, I could just but a new crank and get piece of mind i think.
