They won't change the tone/sound when you are on it, if anything they smooth it out and will get rid of the rasp/drone you hear at cruising speeds. It's just an option.

would also have to offset the pipes away from each other to fit those resonators, another reason I don't feel like messing with it. any info on sound dampening? I've heard the dampening material like dynomat is no good for drone. some other forum mentioned something called dynopad that was a layered foam material. deadening the cab would have other benefits besides eliminating the drone, which would be nice.

a couple local trucks I know of have caught fire recently so I figured I would pick up a fire extinguisher as a precaution. any mounting ideas? was kinda thinking of mounting at the bottom of the B pillar if it will fit and is easy enough to reach.
