Thanks guys. I am having issues with the AC though. The belt keeps coming off but not instantly and not at specific times. It will last for about a week sometimes and then come off the compressor. Youd think if it were the alignment, it would come off soon after starting the engine, but it doesn't. I also don't have any issues with the serpentine belt. I've gone through about 4 ac belts, and put a new tensioner, and even put on a belt size one step too small (very tight fit) and it still came off. I think the compressor is the original (208k miles) and I've heard that the clutches could possibly randomly be locking up and slinging the belt, not sure if this is possible. Anyone have any idea?

Also, the belt comes off no matter how I drive it. It came off the first week and did the motor swap and I did not go much over 3k rpms the entire time.

What are y'all's thoughts?

Mine jumps around but doesn't come off, it's just the nature of the beast. I think mine is around 800 crank hp now, I mean dam, It's pretty amazing to me that the platform can handle this much as well as it does. But if I had to say, it's the crank pulley not lining up with compressor.

I'd think that too but it must not be that far off from being lined up if it will last that long without falling off. I posted this everywhere to get different opinions and a lot of people are saying to swap to a stretch fit belt and do away with the AC belt tensioner.

Mine has the stretch fit with a powerbond OD crank balancer and I don't have problems until I get above 6700-6800 rpm. Even then it doesn't always happen and when it does, it tends to just jump forward a rib on the AC compressor.

Mine comes completely off and just gets wrapped up around the crank

Did a little maintenance today. Drained catch can, cleaned air filter, rotated tires, and finally put on the stretch-fit ac belt. It is on and ac works! I will keep y'all posted on whether it last or not.

Update: it's been a couple weeks since I installed the stretch fit belt, and AC is still working. I think that fixed the belt slinging issue !
