I did a bit of cheating at the joints to get the bends and the angles to work out how I wanted it to. The inner fender will have a nice power dent in it but overall I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. I even got to keep my heater core and full lock steering with a big tire! hahah

I have a V band that I will put shortly after the last bend so I can actually remove this thing with out taking the wheel off.

I also decided on running a muffler too. Probably along the lines of a 5X18" flow-pro twister.

The fact you managed to fit that in there impresses me. I'd imagine that 5" tubing makes everything else look like straws

Awesome build so far bud, keep it up

Nice! Whats the following like for this kind of stuff out there like??

It seems like everyone out here has an autocross civic or has a straight up track car, not many street trolls....

Little bit of a side note, but its cool as ****! Thomas Skinner was having their open house for machine tools last week. The Haas guys were there and they were milling these all day as a demo on the 5 axis they had set up.... I tried to convince one of the sales guys to let me take one home but no dice.

I also decided to start tackling the cold side... Borg sends these turbos with a 3.25" outlet, good for absolutely nothing in my mind.

I went and drank some beer with my machinist buddy today and he flanged me up a new v band flange with the outer dimensions of a 3.25" but with a 3" hole in it that doesn't suck.

I'm going back home for the holidays this friday so I'm going to half *** attempt to make this thing spin before I leave. See how that goes!

... day early for what I had planned. Thats new.

Anyways I lit the thing up tonight for the first time with the turbo. There is still a bunch of stuff left to button up. namely plumbing the water to the intercooler and finishing the exhaust. No big chunks of metal went into the engine due to my handy work, so thats good. hahaha

anyways.

FYI... The black piece is a 3" charge pipe.
