That wasn't a bad price for truck.
Thanks! I obviously left out a lot of the little stuff, but I got tired of dealing with pictures!

the quest for 1000 will defiantly include bigger injectors, and maybe probably dual pumps if I go E85.

Theres only one E85 station in canada and I'm lucky to live remotely close to it, so it will depend how much I want to go there to fill up.

For your viewing pleasure.... Theres something morally wrong in my mind about using a website to upload pictures to a website.

I like to think of it more as a depository. That I can access anywhere.

Wow, very impressive. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Why use the CTS manifolds instead of the truck manifolds though?

I think these end up being more like C6 vette manifolds than ctsv stuff. I'm starting to gather that gmt400 trucks have a small engine bay. Anything else would have put the turbo too high, too far forward, or most likely both. These dump between ports 2 and 3 and have virtually no rise to them

These are cooler anyways, they have O2 bungs in them already and don't have 10 years of build up on them!

Finally moving some more parts out of my living room and onto the truck.

Mounted up the intercooler rad tonight.

I'm not 100% jazzed with how it came out, but it should do its purpose and stay out of the view of most With the amount of air these fans pull through there I can't see the IC water ever getting much above ambient. Ill go back in and straighten the rad fins out eventually. I had the IC rad in and out probably 15 times... My knuckles are done fighting with sharp radiator fins.

Also put the grill back on to see how it looked, sanded and repainted it black because the old stuff was pealing realllllyy bad.It seems to hide stuff pretty nicely.

Next on the list is to mount the circulation pump and run a bit of plumbing. Waiting for the water jet guys to cut me a hot side turbo flange thats more compatible with tubing vs. a square rectangle before the hot side gets fully buttoned up.

So I finally decided to do something on this money pit. My mom was in town so that killed 10 days of time carting her around...

Any ways I got the flange I wanted. turned out to be cheaper than the crappy china one.

Then I finally could make the hardest joint in the entire hot side. Spent 3 hours at work on the belt sander making this happen. The only thing I had to go on as far as piping placement is pictures I took before I started sanding.

It all fit way to well for how I did it. Defiantly got a bit lucky

I am going to fish plate the turbo flange to the mani flange. I have a feeling 50lbs would destroy a hot tube in short order.

The first time I flanged the whole thing up:

I have to delete the huge ugly coolant tank in favour of an exhaust pipe, but I'm alright with that.

Just another random picture. Starting to get excited about this thing now.

The really cool part is that after I sell the original truck manifolds, I'll be into the hot side for well under $300 CAD. Pretty happy with that.

It's exhaust/wastegate, intercooler, and an oil line away from spinning
