well some good news is I now have decent battery voltage. around 13.5. still having some fuel pressure issues. mainly in 2nd gear. My 1-2 shift is at 6300 and is fine but my 2-3 shift is at 5800 to keep enough fuel pressure and I haven't gone past 5800 in 3ed. I may order a new Bosch 044 or one of the 044 knockoff and see if it helps with that. I added about 5% to the trans 2-3 shift pressure table. it shifted but its really sluggish. added 2% more and is better. added another 2% but didn't get a chance to test it. I also added 20% TM into the tune for the 2-3 shift to help it out. Hopefully the new pump will get here before next Friday so I can install it and test it out at the track.

well Im hoping it works. Also, on my 2-3 shift, looking at my log, the rpms are rising in a linear fashion, at my set shift point the rpms jump from 5900-6300 then it shifts. I have my shift times zeroed out. now running 10% over stock trans pressure on the 2-3 and have 20% TM for the 2-3 shift.

I suspect your trans is not liking the power, it sounds like the RPM is flaring.

Maybe the TQ management at shifts will band aid it for now

yea, I may just set the rpm shift point around 5800 since it doesn't do it there. and my 3rd gear pulls very strong

Checked my trans fluid this morning. Looks a little high. Checked it after I got home from work, engine still running. but still red. It does have a slight burnt smell. Running the Supertech walmart fluid. Think it would help if I put something better in there? has about 15K miles on it.

I would just run whatever fuild it takes from GM, or the Dexron 6 since it is backwards compatable with all the previous auto trans.
