Nice. Did they say if there is anything wrong with it?

No, he was parting out the truck and the trans is about all thats left. Its been up for about 6 months. He started out at 800 for the trans. Was going to have it rebuilt and add a shift kit.

And something like this to rebuild it.
4L80E Rebuild Kit Pro Street Late 2001&Up :: 4L80E ---- 4L80ETRANSMISSIONS.com :: GM Rebuild Kits :: Pro-Built Automatics
should I add anything else?

Have Jake build it for you...he's had plenty of experience rebuilding transmissions.

for a torque converter. Im wanting to get another Circle-D. And have him build it to bolt strait to the stock flex plate. Not sure on what size. Currently running his multidisk 245mm 4C 3700 rpm converter and while its great. its very loose. Thinking about the 258 in a 3200-3400. Should work well with the procharger

should make the trans swap a lot easier. Has a max lift of 24 1/2". Hopefully it will be enough.
Also ordered a Circle-D 258mm 2C multidisk. Should flash to around 3400 rpm. Big thanks to Chris at Circle-D. Answered all of my questions, even late at night and on weekend. And gave me a hell of a deal on the converter.

just ordered a few more goodies. Got a bearing and seal kit for the nvg149 tcase, a new chain for the tcase, and a B&M universal drain plug for the transmission pan. Picking the trans up tomorrow and dropping it off at Smokeshow's to see what he says it needs. Pretty sure it will need a new valve body, and a master rebuild kit. And still need to pick up the trans-go HD2 shift kit.
