It'll help having extra juice for backup while you're cranking that thing over forever cause of the cam. You'll be forced to improve your tuning skills in that weather. lol

I started my truck up after sitting outside multiple times in -10 to -20 temps last time I was home. Turned over just fine, just had to adjust some settings in the idle tables cause it wanted to die the second it turned over.


How long were you cranking it trying to get it to turn over??

It was hard starting course of the weak battery and old starter

Do you have any data on that 2500 starter? I've never known there was a difference between the 1500 and 2500 units.

hell ya looks dude dude..... i may not be far behind you found some intresting crap if i get this new job could possably go boost n a few months but may hold off till the end of the year still

Sounds good man. I can't wait to see if this helps. Still need to figure out why it's shifting so early on the 1-2 shift. I'm commanding 7100 to get it to shift at 6300

dam thats nuts.... wonder why that it??? what inner cooler are u using now? im still pretty set on the trick stage 3 think it will be great for my truck.
