I think I remember you saying the engine builder wants to put it on the dyno. Is this still the plan?

It's so tempting, but would cost a ton of money. I imagine injectors alone would be near $4k, then probably another $2k getting it set up with the pump, extra fuel rails, cell, filters, fittings and line.

I could probably get 1500 to 2000 for my current fuel system, but it would be a tough sale. Not too many people need what I got.

I'll get it going on gas and if it seems like it's gonna be decently reliable, I may make the switch next year.

No doubt it would run quicker though. Probably loose another 100 lbs switching over too.

 

So I heard today that Spikes truck is a 2900lb tube chassis deal. 8.05 is still impressive, but I was thinking this was in a near 4000lb truck.

 

yeah compared to hayhauler, canalla, ghost rider or your truck its LIGHT! makes me wonder if its even in the same category but still 8.05 is impressive

 

I heard 3200 with driver. But yea 8.05 is getting it. I am sure he is berly pushing his set up any.

ghost rider cutting 1.37s on leafs is pretty impressive also.
