Blown06-New Build: Cage, 4-Link, Cog Drive, + Too Much More
#1731
With the 2-strokes making a come back, I'm finding that I do a lot of complete engine builds as most can work on their own bike. New crank rod piston bearings and replace parts in the transmission that might be worn past spec.
A shameless plug I know, but I'll do work on anything with 2 wheels. lol
The rm 250 that I am doing now is 100% insane. The guy is gonna have about 8000$ in it not including any labor to me. I basically built the motor from scratch starting with a brand new set of cases. Everything is either powder coated or anodized, 265 cc big bore kit, full factory connection suspension.....the works.
Here is a pic of the motor all buttoned up:

very cool....Sorry to Hijack your thread but I am big MX guy myself...I have been on various teams as a technician. I now own and operate my own suspension tuning business...Here is my personal RM250 build that I finished recently......My 450 is my primary race bike (2015)

Dont know about their uppers but, if you look at the stock arms they are side specific. The balljoint pads are angled toward the rear of the truck when mounted if i am correct. Maybe their arms are built different with that offset in mind. Check your wheelbase? Measure from a certain point on the frame to the balljoint and if theyre the same then ur good to go? BTW the stuff you do is just plain badass.

I should be having a ton of front suspension updates coming this weekend. So stay tuned for that. It's gonna be pretty sick.
Thanks for the compliment.

Well it looks like it isn't gonna be ready for the shootout down South. I've run into a bit of a situation with the front coil overs. Lessons to be learned.........I'll never spend another dime with Race Craft Inc. Pretty pissed.
