I talked to Eric at DuraBurb today about the radiator situation. He said the 34" gasser radiator would be marginal at best, even in a light weight truck that doesn't tow. He recommended a 3/4 ton gasser radiator support and a LLY radiator/intercooler. I'd still have to run a body lift to make it fit.

Im surprised he even talked to you. He seems very tight-lipped about the stuff he does. I dont blame him as thats his livelyhood but it definitely doesnt make things easier for planning. Best of luck to you, Im really interested to see how this turns out.

He did ask if I did this on the side to resell, and seemed to relax a little when I told him I was doing just this one truck for myself.
I opened up my search to include LLY trucks...the LBZ ones are going for way more than I was expecting.

If you have a broker, ask him to watch it for you.

If it wasn't snowing all day today I would have built an A frame in the driveway and used the winch on my 2011 and a ****** block to lift it up. My garage is not very work friendly...so yes, lol.

**** if I know, lol. Just leave it there until it's ready to go back on the frame.
These three are coming up for auction this week. Trying to decide if the one with the front wheel ripped off is worth bidding on, it's an LBZ, and the other two are LLY. I still haven't figured out exactly what is required to put the 2500 front suspension on the 1500.
