I weighed my truck on the scale at work yesterday, and got 5460 with 1/4 tank of fuel and me in it. Now I'm wondering which one is correct....that's a 400-500 lb difference from the scale at the landfill. Hmmm....

If it helps, I weighed my truck about 2 months ago, with me in it (I am 280#) and the gas tank 5/8 full it weighed in at 4960# this is for a 2003 Silverado LS RCSB 4x4 (non Z71) that has a bedliner with no bed cover.

Not much to update. I have the rear end torn apart to regear it. Turns out it did have 3.73 in it, not 4.10....going to 3.42. I have a Kyle tune in there, he said it was about 70hp. I limped the trans on a part throttle 4->5 shift on the original tune he did, he has since sent a revised one and no more limping!
I was going to try to take it to the track this coming week but I don't think I'll have the gear swap done by then, so it will probably be the following week at the earliest.

HG's may be toast...apparently some coolant came out of the overflow tank last time I drove the truck on Wednesday. Just saw it this afternoon. Coolant level isn't low yet but it definitely puked some out.
