Wow, thanks man. That means a lot. Usually I'm shooting with the Canon 100mm f/2.0 on an original 5D.

Here's a slightly better photo with a clean truck from tonight. Got out a little late to shoot a full set.

How'd everything go with the 6.0? Did you get it all put together? What cam did you go with?

Thank you! It's always great to hear that people enjoy my photos.

I ended up buying some milled 243 heads for a killer deal from a buddy a few months back, and then ski season started, so ALL of my disposable income has been going to that.

I just accepted a job offer for a place that's much closer to home, and for significantly more money though, so I'll be getting started on the 6.0 within the next month or so. I'm itching to get this thing done, but I just haven't been able to afford it until now. Well, I could have, but I'm not gonna take money out of savings or go into debt for a dumb truck.

What are those wheels off of exactly? they look a lot like the NBS 17 Denalis.. did a quick ebay search for 17 gm spares and came up with nothing.. this truck is awesome by the way, cant wait for updates.

Thanks man. They're the N86 optional spare on the GMT900 trucks. Car-part.com has a bunch, just search for any truck that generation and select "wheel" and "aluminum spare, opt N86". The only downside is it's a 17x7.

I should be picking my motor up my buddy's shop where I've been storing it tomorrow, so hopefully I can get started on that soon.

The wheels are just the middle of the 3 metallic bronze Rustoleum colors that were available at lowes on the Saturday that I went. Sprayed it over white primer.
