Not on the green truck, no. I had a ~1" thick bumpstop in there and had probably 2.5" of travel before contacting the stop. Never had any issues with bottoming unless I was towing or hauling heavy. For a daily driver, I was extremely happy with that setup, especially for the ~$200 I had into the suspension.

Thanks for the input, definately going to look into it. Working on mocking up some turbo piping for the 4.8 and lowering was next, might swap it around

Are those wheels XXR 551s? Silly question, XXR doesn't come in our bolt pattern.

Same exact tires from the green truck, 275/60/17.

They're actually 4 of the optional alloy spare wheels from the GMT900 trucks. Never seen anyone else piece a set together before. They're light as hell, only downside is they're only a 17x7. I know a guy who's widened wheels for about 40 years though, so something may happen there in the future.

So... truck stuff is on hold again, I'm an idiot and bought another ******* car.

2000 BMW 323Ci, 5 speed, 186,000 miles, some cosmetic issues, and it needed a new passenger side lower control arm (which was sitting in a box in the trunk). Paid a friend's parents $2,000 for it. Came with the alloy 17s with good summer tires on them, and a set of 16" steelies with snow tires. Too good a deal to pass up. Plan is to get it mechanically sound, clean it up cosmetically, then throw it on craigslist with a high asking price while I use it as my DD and see how much I can get for it. I'd like to get into an AWD E46 wagon for the winter, but we'll see how things develop.

Who wants to buy the 4Runner?

Painted some ****, it doesn't match, I'll fix it at some point. Got new tires, tinted the windows, still deciding what I want to do with the 6.0, might be a change in my work situation in the next few months that would allow for the budget to grow a bit.

It'll go away when the 6.0 goes in and I finagle the exhaust from the old green truck on there. Until then I'll just keep letting it bother everybody.

Dick...

LOL. It's funny this thread popped back up, I saw my old blue truck today down the street from my shop on the way home.
