Default Aluminum LS2 Build

After many months of planning out and parts collecting I have finally started to put together a motor with the help of Kasey (06tx4.8).

LS2 aluminum block bored .10 over
317 heads
Lunati double springs (660 lift)
Mahle forged pistons
LS2 timing chain
LS7 Lifters
ARP head studs
stock bottom end
Katech rod bolts
60 lb. injectors
8 rib setup from leftcoast 32
P-1SC (10-11 lbs.)
custom cam (222/230 .602”/.609” 117LSA +2 advance)
Melling High volume oil pump
And of course Wheatley to top it off with a tune!

I know I have probably missed something but if you want to know just ask, now on to some of the eye candy.

And the hotrod its going in (beastmode's old rig)

Yea I'm unpatiently waiting for the heat in Houston to reside some so me and Kasey aren't just sweating the entire time.

Tell Kasey to quit being a puss and get it done

Man, its still brutal out there even early in the morning. I mowed the yard this morning at about 8:30 and lost 4 lbs of water in 2 hours. And it sux that the truck may be down for awhile to do the swap.
