Holy **** Andy! Sorry to hear about that man, that really sucks!
Cheap isurance at this point, never know how far you may want to push it down the road. Plenty of people have scattered a LS2 rod motor at the 7-800hp range. Rpm is a killer for these rods, power just makes them have a slow death as it slowly bends them. The guys over at BEI have pushed the stock rods the furthest and 800rwhp seems to be the breaking point for a weekend toy vehicle. I wouldn't be able to keep my foot out of it and am fairly well convinced I could break an anvil with a feather.

Thieves suck, my wife wonders why I'm so **** about closing the garage door even if I'm just going to the backyard.

Thanks guys, kinda bummed but in reality I should have put them in the garage. Shouldn't "HAVE" to but it would have prevented this. I have a case open with the troopers and have my insurance involved so hopefully something comes out of it. The Trooper told the wife he valued the stock rims and tires at $1000 which I was surprised with. Going to call GM and see what the rims go for new from them along with the tires and TPMS. The 20" tires that were off the rims were getting worn down but I would imagine would still be worth a few bucks.

Just curious now what my deductible is and all that.

On the plus side (if there is one) I still have the generic 17" rims that I use to use for the track that I can make my winter setup and just get some tires for them. Probably pick up some Cooper Zeon LTZ as I have had good luck with those in the past.

Well I am shocked. Just talked to the local GM parts counter and to replace the rims, tires and TPMS is $2708....

Now to see what insurance is willing to pay. I see some after market rims and tires coming my way if all goes well

If your insurance is anything like mine and everyone else I know, you've got a 2k debuctible.

I see factory rim/tire combos on Craigslist regularly for under a grand. Your location might screw this option up for you, but it's worth looking into. There usually pretty new from guys swapping out there rolling stock right off the lot.
