I plan to cut out the inside of the stock grille and have the chrome around it sanded down and painted either the same color as the truck or a gloss black. I also bought some gloss black vinyl and will wrap the front bumper in that when doing all this...
i have a buddy who had his chrome painted to match the body and blacked out the grille, looks pretty good. his is the steel blue color, whatever they call that. i think that'd look good one yours if you're getting rid of the chrome trim. i think it'd look wrong with a shiny grille and painted trim but that's my $.02

Stock pin dia is 0.943", and these are 0.945". Machine shop charged $85 or $90 IIRC to hone the bushed ends 0.002"

Talked to ***** over there, super helpful guy. They can/will build you anything if you give them the specs. Then he sends it to engineering/design, then it goes to manufacturing. This set was a custom set.

Roger likes to make me being a thousand miles away even tougher LOL.

We are kicking around the idea's of painting the engine. It's a daily driver and our winter's up here are pretty nasty. It would be a bitch to keep clean.

Worth it or just rock it as is??

Should have some more pics here in a few

If you can't see much of it why paint it LOL

I'll think it over tonight but not sure I want to make Roger go through the effort for something that will be a royal PITA to keep looking how I will want it.

plus I kinda like the sleeper look.....well as much of a sleep look as you can get with a Procharger under the hood lol
