how many beers did you have today?? You didn't build my motor sideways did you??

 

With all the accessories on the motor, you wouldn't notice the paint. The only time I notice mine is when it's on a lift and i'm under the truck.

 

Ya I think if I had a nice older hot rod or something where I am showing off the motor more I could see doing some nice color but it's just a nice daily driver. I will just leave it looking stock.....ish

 

Why stock rods?

 

So someone was nice enough to steal my stock rims and tires that I had off the truck and sitting in my front yard. Also stole just 1 of the 4 stock 16" rims and tires from my old 02 silverado that I had left over and also 4 20" cooper tires that were not on rims.

That sucks. I have chains on the stuff I cant fit in my shed. I also etched a serial # on some of my higher dollar items just in case someone wants to try and be stupid.

 

It's partialy my fault for leaving them where I did. I had it all back behind the house but this last time I was home I had a dozer and was moving dirt so I stacked it all up in front of my front porch on my driveway.



Hopefully homeowners insurance covers some. I still have my Centerlines on the truck now at Rogers shop so I am good for rest of summer and also still have some generic 17" steal GM rims I can use for winter.


Maybe I will get lucky and get a few bucks from insurance and can get some nice winter tires or something.

 

Sorry about the again bad luck.Buy I think when u get your truck going again u will be all better.

 

Why not stock rods? Plenty of guys pushing these LS2 "floating" rods to 800+, and a few are into 4 digits with them. Andy wants an 11 second truck, not a 9 second truck.
